Can I set up a wells fargo bank account in a different state than the one I live in?

I live in Minnesota and am down in Texas visiting some family. I have a bank account down here with Extraco Banks. Can open an account with Wells Fargo and use that same account up north?

   Wells fargo has branches though out the US. It does not matter where you opened the account. You can use your account anywhere.
