How do I find a bank account that my grandpa opened for him and I?
Many years ago my grandpa opened a bank account for me with his name and mine on the account. Its the kind of account that you can add money to but only pull money out at certain times (not sure what its called) Anyway, my grandpa just died and and I cant remember the name of the bank or any details about the account. How do I find out info. on this account so I can get the money out of it?

It is a CD and they will send a letter when the time is right to renew or withdraw the money. You can check his financial records he probably has something. The executer of his estate will probably find it. Your grandpa could have already taken the money and spent it.
Check your state for lost money you can search for it online. If he forgot the money the bank would turn it over to the state.
Your grandpa may have opened on close to home so check the local banks.
Verify the Bank pass book, deposit receipt or any of the documents which your grand father left: Is there any will? verify: if there is any nomination or joint account or Either or survivor account and if the account is not operated for a long time BANK will send you notice: It is very pity that you have not remembered the bank at which you have opened an account and signed .
