How do I find out if a bank account has been opened in my name?

   Find the MAILING address for the bank. It should be on the website somewhere. Look for “Contact Us”. Send a Certified letter explaining that the website states you have an account, but you are not aware of the account. Request documentation of the account. They will probably request proof that you are who you claim to be. If the bank has a branch you can visit, walk in and talk to someone in person.

   thru credit report. check if any banks on your report tried to check your history…then call those banks.
