How long does it take to confirm a bank account with paypal?

I am waiting on a payment for services and the buyer told me that they can’t pay because they changed banks and paypal must confirm their account. I know that paypal does this, but I don’t remember how long it usually takes. Does anyone know how long it typically takes for paypal to verify/confirm a bank account?

depends on the bank…could be up to 5 business days but usually within 3 business days.
it takes one week to one month depending on how soon the person gets their statement and confirms the minimal deposits that paypal makes to them.
3 days because this is how long it took me.
It only takes a few days to confirm a bank account through paypal.If you can check your account online you will see a deposit,twice.. of a few cents from your account,so they can confirm it,and it usually only takes a few days.Don’t know how long its been for you,but if i did’nt receive payment for something,i would contact paypal and ask them to pay another way.You should’nt have to wait that long for your money.
